An introduction to Couch Therapy

So here goes with my first blog. I decided that I needed to do this as I have so many ideas running around inside of my head and tend to file them into a part of my brain that I don’t seem to be able to locate the following day. I always think yeah Ill remember…but I don’t.

In order to make this practice as viable as possible I purchased myself a reasonably priced laptop. Now, there was no excuse. I could tap away whilst watching TV tap away whilst soaking up the sun on the balcony, tap away whilst reclining in my bed (for peace and quiet and the ultimate in comfort) and translate all those lost ideas.

Maybe once I blog them out they won't seem as smart or clever.

Blogging has become the modern day version of the Agony Aunt. You wrote off to her with your woes hoping she would answer all your questions, but before your reply was ever published you found that the problems had disappeared. Perhaps it was the fact you just got it off your chest. Or once you placed it on paper you were able to go to the next step and solve it yourself.

These days we have forums that we can go to and chat with likeminded people. But even those have their pitfalls. Often the 2 subjects that people like to bring up – War and Politics – always end up in arguments and walkouts. Sadly these forums end up closing. Where once there was peace and harmony now lies a ghost town with one or two tumbleweeds rolling in commenting and moving on.

So blogging seems the go, I can rant and rave to my hearts content. And my memoirs are immortalized on the net. Do I want others to read my words ? Hell Yeah! But I hope all that I write is taken in the emotion that it should be. And you will have to excuse any freedom of my speech, be it bad grammar or whatever.

If you want to follow the clever, fun, unique and quirky life that I lead with my family then join up and join in with me on the ride of my life.
